Music Catalog for Windows · demonstration library.
VERSIONS
One song. Every version.
Keep renders, mixes, masters, demos and alternates attached to the song they belong to. Search the song first; decide between versions second.
01
Find the song
Search the musical work, not a maze of filenames.
02
Compare versions
Keep alternates together and use ratings/listening context where available.
03
Move the winner forward
Promote the version you choose into an album or release workflow.
FAST CORRECTIONS
Fix the catalog without breaking your listening flow.
Select without stopping playback
Open another song’s information while the current audio keeps playing.
Per-version BPM & key
Expanded versions keep their own BPM and key, so alternate renders remain comparable.
Repeat + artwork
Repeat one song or the current queue and keep artwork in the release workflow.
Listen with the project in view.
A production library needs more than the name of the playing file. Versions, ratings and musical metadata help you decide what deserves another pass while keeping the listening context clear.
Choose the song or version you want to play. Review its title, BPM and key as useful working metadata, with estimates treated as estimates.
Browse another song while playback continues. Keep the selected file and the currently playing file distinct when comparing or editing information.
Build a shortlist or playlist from the material worth returning to. Check the exact version before exporting it or moving it into an album.
Check before you continue
BPM and key estimates support navigation and selection; confirm them by ear or with your project when precision matters. Playback and format support depend on the current Windows build and the source file.
How is this different from a general-purpose music player?
A general music player is usually organized around listening to finished albums and artists. Music Catalog also keeps production versions, ratings, BPM and key context close to the song you are reviewing, and lets you move selected versions toward an album release workflow.
Can I browse other tracks without interrupting playback?
Yes. You can inspect another song's information while the current audio continues. Keep the currently playing file distinct from the selected file so you do not accidentally compare or edit the wrong version.
Can I rely on automatic BPM and key estimates?
They are helpful catalog and listening aids, not guarantees of musical accuracy. Confirm a tempo or key by ear, against the DAW session or another trusted analysis when the production decision requires precision.
Is Music Catalog a DAW, audio editor or streaming service?
No. It is a standalone Windows library and listening workflow for your own local audio files. You can manage and prepare selected material; recording, mixing and publishing still involve their proper tools and permissions.
