Prepare your files and release information before sending them to your distributor. Distribution and registration remain with the services you choose.
Turn a shortlist into an organized delivery.
An album needs a deliberate sequence and consistent delivery information. Music Catalog brings selection, artwork and release preparation into the same workflow as listening to your files.
Create the album and choose the version of each song that belongs in it. Review the order as a listening sequence rather than an alphabetical list.
Prepare artwork, titles, credits and identifiers you already hold. Recheck spelling and ownership information against your release records.
Choose an available export profile and destination folder or archive. Listen to the exported files and verify the metadata before sending them to a distributor.
Check before you continue
Preparing a release does not assign rights or issue ISRC/UPC codes. Distribution services can impose different delivery requirements. Preserve your original masters and review normalization settings for the intended export.
Does Music Catalog release my album directly to Spotify or distributors?
No. It prepares a release package from your selected tracks, artwork and metadata. You use your distributor's own upload and approval process afterward; Music Catalog does not replace your distribution account.
What can I export after selecting the album tracks?
The verified commercial release supports folder or ZIP delivery, available export profiles covering 17 formats, and optional LUFS normalization. Review the exported audio yourself and preserve the original master as the source of truth.
Does it create ISRC or UPC identifiers and music rights?
No. It helps you organize identifiers and credits you already hold. Codes, ownership records and publishing rights are established through the relevant services, not generated merely by making an album folder.
What happens to the album artwork?
The release artwork workflow prepares a 3000×3000 sRGB JPG. Check your chosen distributor's current artwork policy, spelling, credits and audio specifications before submitting the release.
