VERSIONS

One song. Every version.

Keep renders, mixes, masters, demos and alternates attached to the song they belong to. Search the song first; decide between versions second.

01
Find the song

Search the musical work, not a maze of filenames.

02
Compare versions

Keep alternates together and use ratings/listening context where available.

03
Move the winner forward

Promote the version you choose into an album or release workflow.

From Suno downloads to an album shortlist.

Start with audio files you have already downloaded with permission. Music Catalog brings those files and your DAW renders into one local review process, so you can choose which version belongs on the album.

  1. Add the folder containing your downloaded songs and renders. Review the groups: alternate takes of one song belong together; different compositions remain separate.
  2. Listen and rate in passes. Start with a broad shortlist, then compare only the versions that still serve the project.
  3. Move the selected versions into an album or playlist. Keep credits and release information connected to your own records.

Check before you continue

Music Catalog works with local audio files. It does not connect to your Suno account or download its library automatically. Download availability and commercial-use terms depend on the service and your license. Music Catalog is an independent application and is not affiliated with Suno. Distribution is handled by the distributor you choose.

Practical questions before choosing a workflow

Does Music Catalog download my Suno library or remove download limits?

No. Music Catalog does not connect to Suno, fetch missing exports or circumvent subscription or download restrictions. Start with files you have already downloaded and are permitted to use. Its job begins after the file is on your Windows computer.

How do I handle many variations of one AI-generated idea?

Import your local audio files, review the song grouping, listen to the different variations and rate each version. Keep compositions separate when their titles are similar but the music is different. Put only your preferred versions in the shortlist or album.

Can I combine Suno exports with audio from my DAW?

Yes, the workflow is based on local, supported audio files rather than a particular generation service. For example, you can compare an authorized download with a later production render from Studio One, REAPER or another DAW, without claiming the app controls those programs.

Does organizing an AI track make it commercially licensed?

No. A music catalog cannot create copyright permissions, replace the generating service's terms or issue distribution rights. Confirm your usage terms and the distributor's requirements before using any recording commercially.
